1. Who is responsible for your data?

2. What data do we collect?

Only what we need for your booking or inquiry: first name, last name, email, phone number, country, the details of the card that guarantees the booking, and anything you write in the comments field.

On arrival we ask for your ID card or passport, as required by law for the guest register and for the VAT exemption for foreign tourists.

3. What do we use it for?

To manage and confirm your booking.
To contact you before and during your stay.
To guarantee the booking and apply the cancellation policy.
To meet our legal and tax obligations.
To send you offers, only if you chose to subscribe to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who do we share it with?

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. For bookings we use the system provided by WuBook Srl (Italy), which stores the data encrypted on our behalf and does not use it for any other purpose. We may also provide it to Chilean authorities when the law requires it.

5. How long do we keep it?

For the duration of your booking and stay, and afterwards only for as long as tax and guest-register laws require. Card details are deleted at the end of your stay.

6. What are your rights?

At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or receive a copy. Write to us at reservas@ancaratacama.com and we will reply within the legal deadlines. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Chilean personal data protection authority.

7. Security

We protect your data with technical measures and restricted access. Only the staff who handle your booking can see it.

Part 2: Cookies

8. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file that is downloaded to your computer or phone when you visit certain websites. Among other things, it allows information about your browsing to be stored and retrieved and, depending on what it contains, to recognize you as a user.
